I got a US Robotics modem 56K (WINDMO) and it working at 32K .. i would like to boost up it's performence. I know this isn't the right place for it but there isn't anywhere else to go. I need help on this . I was sent her from a guy from www.dcisonews.com Can anyone here help me with this???

there's nothing much that will increase your performance.

you may be connecting that low due to the quality of your phone lines are low, and 32kbps is your max speed.
Your ISP may not be up to the v.90 standard.
many factors.

(Note: If you have poor quality phone lines in your area, you'll still be stuck with low connection speeds and unexpected disconnects)

The best thing to do would be to see if there are broadband connection providers available in your area. Cable/DSL/Satellite... all much better than 56k... and in some cases.. more affordable.

I totally agree. A broadband connection can't be beat. I have cable modem as my primary connection and 56K modem as my backup connection(when cable service goes down).
