in 3 days my Hack log has gone from 33k to 2258K and it is still going strong. Can someone tell me what might be the problem cus the first day I was getting hacked I couldn't even get onto the web.

My ISP won't change my IP address(not sure why hard to explain)

Can anyone please help a poor lost boy?

Hi JLR

Myself i do not run a LogFile with it, but it sounds like something is screwed up.

Have you tried to uninstall & Re install it???

I do not have any Big answer for you, but the above is simple to do and may help. If not then you might try downloading a New one to see if something is corrupted possibly.

By the way have you installed anything New prior to this happening ???

Good luck JLR

The thing is I have never had a problem with ZA and I will try to reinstall it but I don't think it will make a difference cus it was working fine and I haven't changed anything.

log file? as in alerts? it certainly seems big. I havent' gotten a single alert in days. but check out your log file, see if a certain IP address is constatnly trying to ping you, maybe you have a persistent hacker or something.

but I wouldnt worry too much, as ZA stopped any attemps to hack your computer, it should be safe.

I use win2k pro and I have to disable the log in both the services.exe and in ZA. I've found in both win98se and win2k, the log file running causes me to be unstable. Often times I'm getting over 100 hits a day. I am tempted to turn thelog back on because there is a shareware program avialable that will analize it for you. Thus, you'll be able to tag who is hitting you over and over and over again.

*Update*

My hacking stopped for about 5 days and now it's started to go mental again 500 alerts in 3 mins.
And it won't stop

Must've pissed off one of Steve Gibsons ZOMBIE MASTERs:) You should send the logs to your ISP and tell them to filter the traffic or (more likely) give you a new ip. Then stop pissing off scrx kiddies ;)

Heres a thaught...

Some Hackers like to use whats called (PORT SCANNERS)...

#Port Scanners , Check all ports starting from port 1 , and stop at port 6578....
#Port Scanners are used to see if a pacific or ^any^ Port is OPEN for Remote Access.

Now if an individual is scanning your system's Ports you would be able to identify this in your Z.A Log...

For me or for antone with Internet Security Knowledge to be able to put a finger on what the attacker or attacker's are looking for .or what there trying to do...

We Realy Need MORE INFO FROM YOUR LOGS.....
Anything Repetative???
