I am confused and I ask you for help me. What is the best firewall in this list(Sygate,Tiny or ZoneAlarm)? Why do you think your choice is the best?
Thank you for advance
Tiny would be considered the best in my opinion, but you need to be able to understand how to set up rules for it to use. It's difficult for a new person to configure.
Zone Alarm is the next best, very user friendly, practically self configuring and very easy for anyone to work with.
Sygate, like Zone Alarm, is also good and easy to use.
What it all adds up to is, how comfortable you are as to setting up rulesets or would you rather have a program that has them already set.

Blebbs is right ! Eccept the newest release of sygate operates Like zonealarm, With extra options. Allowing you to add extra rules. Plus ports you would like to have open at certain times. It has just been release about two or three weeks ago. I have useing it sense it came out. So far it works great. Plus a little less configureing then tiny. Just as good at blocking ports if setup right. The easiest one if you are not into to setting up any ports or need to is zonealarm.;) They are all free!
i've never used tiny <everyone talks about it being hard to use and since i don't know alot about the rulesets and crap i figured i'd leave it alone>. i have used ZA and sygate and i personally like sygate better. prolly the best thing to do is just try it and see what you think. i'm sure they are all real good.
