Zone Alarm with XP???

Does anyone know if Zone Alarm works with Windows XP??

Not sure It might I know sygate is suppose to and tiny. So with Zonealarm being updated not to long ago it might!. Their might be someone out their useing it with Xp. Or just give it a try and see. You can always unistall it. It gives you directions at It web site. Lease wise it use to. GoodLuck!;) Plus it should tell you what os it works with I would think!

Well I dont have XP yet so I cant try it, but I am going to have it soon so I am making general inquiries about what will work and what wont. Thanks :)

Storm I didnt even think to go to the ZoneLabs site to check. I asked this question late last night. It says on the site that both ZoneAlarm and Pro work with XP.

My Version of ZA Pro works fine with XP.. only thing Iv'e noticed is it keeps aking about letting IE 6 to be a server.. just a minor glitch

It doesnt work with my final version of XP.

For me, Zone Alarm (whatever latest version is) works with the final build (2600) of XP, BUT only when it wants to. Sometimes I'll log into my box and it won't come up. I try to start it manually and a small X appears over the ZoneAlarm icon on the system tray. I have to log off, log back in for it to work. Very wierd. As far as software compatability, anything that is good for Windows 2000, should work fine on XP. Heavy emphasis on 'should'. :)

That is EXACTLY what happens to me. Ive given up trying to get it to work. Im waiting for a decent patch until I use it again.
