I had posted this in the cable forum, but thought it belonged here.
Hi! Just in case you dont know me or my computer, I thought I would introduce it. I have a cable internet connection running on an abit kt7a/duron800/radeon64ddr/512megs/realtek NIC. I know that wasnt very important, but I try to always give more info then is needed. The only programs I have running on startup on my win2k OS is zonealarm PRO and most of my services.exe are disable or set to manual if not needed. I have five partitions on two hard drives and I've just reinstalled win2k this morning. I recieved the following error on my last install and on this install:
ICMP time exceeded 207.0.61.217 The first time it happened 117 times in 20 minutes. This last time it happened 57 times in a half an hour. It would appear to be a dosis attack, but I just formatted my HD. Unless it's from one of my ripped games I have installed on another partition or warez. Any ideas?
I think I forgot to add one simple detail. I have nothing to do with that web address. I only know of it because zone alarm pro had blocked it from leaving my computer.
