System.ini tweek
I am trying to put the system.ini tweek on my system. The the directions tell me to find the IRQ for my nic I do not see any IRQ associated to a protcal in my device manager. I have an external Alcatel 4060 and I use RASPPPOE to connect to my DSL. What am I doing wrong????

Go to Start, programs, accessories, system tools, system information. In system information on left hand side click on hardware, then IRQ, it tells you number there

Someone replied to your thread in tweaking you may want to see:)

It's an undocumented tweak, and I've yet to see any proof that it works at all....anywhere. I've looked, and tried it.

I don't see the NIC listed in your IRQ listing...do you have a USB modem?

Yes I have a USB modem.

I will use IRQ #10 as stated in a previous not from MrMatt2532.

Thanks everyone,
