I've reinstalled Win2k Pro 4 times because of this problem. I can access the internet with no problem but am not able to check my e-mail in Outlook. I am positive my settings are correct cause everytime I reinstall everything will work fine for a few hours or so but then after that I'm not able to connect to my mail server. What's going on here? I've tried everything that I know of. Has this happened to any of you guys, if so...what is the fix?

Could the problem be on the mail server itself and not necessarily with Outlook? Try using another Email client and test it out.

Pocomail rocks!

But first...what are the errors that you are getting within Outlook? When you click on send/receive....you'll get a progress bar...details button telling you the errors.

Just for yucks...try entering the IP address of the mail servers, both POP3 and SMTP. You can get the ip address simply by pinging by name....look in the replies.

Are you using the latest version of IE/Outlook? 6.0 is officially out now.
