This version comes with an updated reference file as well. There will also be an update for RegHance (2.0).

Ad-aware 5.6 (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/downloads.html)

EDIT=The download page says 5.6 but the installer contains 5.5. Sorry, I guess we will have to wait :(

EDIT #2
Got it :) Just be patient, the site is slow and they just updated the file.

Nothing to worry about. Thanks Scoot.
The program, when d/loaded says version 5.0 in big, bold type and next to it is 'Release 5.6'.
When you go to Start>Programs>Ad-aware it will say Ad-aware 5.5. No biggie.

There was a snafu! They had the wrong one up there.
I have uploaded it here (http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,1383285;mode=flat#1383285) for those who cannot access the site.
The new version does say 5.6 :)

Did you try the link in my last post? I zipped it up and posted it in a thread at another board. Just so folks like you don't have to wait.
Glad you got it.
They have a board here (http://www.voiceofthepublic.org/cgi-voiceofthepublic/ikonboard/ikonboard.cgi), but the connection is also very slow.

If anyone needs a method to remove new.net , since Ad-Aware can no longer support the function, I have a list of Reg keys to send to dooms day should you need it! ;)
