You know the 4 little options you have under internet cache settings in explorer? It says check for newer versions of stored pages. What should I put this on for optimal performace. Someone told me to put it to Never. Does this help and what does it do. Thanks peeps.

If I put it to never, when I go to the page it will updates as soon as I am there right? I am confused

When you go to a web site, IE stores a copy of the page. Should you go back to the same page, IE will look to see if it should display the one held in memory or if it should refresh and bring up the one that is currently being posted. You want the most current. In theory… I could tell IE to never look up the newest and always bring up the one in memory. That would mean I could read the same “daily news” for Sunday every day. I don’t want that. Do you?
