WHen theres above 6 people connected to my server some get booted WHY?

Well i finnaly tweaked my @home cable connection and it is alot faster. I am running 450mhz with 192mbs of ram (compaq computer) Whenever i host a multiplayer game when theres above 6 people connected to my server my server randomly boots people. It started happening ever since i tweaked my internet. WHat should i do , What settings should i change and to what number.

I don't know what you tweaked but it's wrong, MTU Discovery should be ON, Acks should be ON, use this toll to do so:


Download to desktop DRTCP019.exe, you may change alot of settings with this, first select your adapter, after changing anything play with it until apply button lites up, then click on it. Then REBOOT for it to work.

WHenever i type in that command for run i come up with an error msg saying no dll file specified. WHen i go to the control panel internet options connections and lan settings thers 3 boxes where i can check on or off they are Automatticaly detect settings, Use automatic configuration script and at bottom use proxy server the one that is checked is Use automatic configuration script. WHat should i do what should i check ?

Proxy server- Are generally slower for your web browsing, to disable proxy server of @homes, if you have their software on your computer go to Start, run, type regsvr32 -u (Space between 2 and -) Then go to (This is for everyone, even @home users) Control panel, internet options, Connections tab at top, LAN Setting's at bottom, and uncheck everything in this box, proxy and auto detect, Nothing sould be checked, REBOOT


I copied this from thread, do you have @homes software on your pooter, does it not say uncheck everything in that box and REBOOT:) :)

Ive already tried all that it sais those setings are correct. THe tweak test was wrong or something. WHat can i do its not the proxy sever it keeps boottin people from my game. It has to do with a tweak setting.

Try these numbers in Tcp recieve Window, 417560, 420480, 438000,
Windows scaling on
Path MTU Discovery=YES
Selective acks=DefaulTime stamping=NO

REBOOT everytime you change RWIN (Tcp Recieve Window) number,
If it still shows up 49152, proxy is still on, uncheck everything again and REBOOT, it will not work unless you REBOOT
