My Default Receive Window (RWIN) won't read right!

the SpeedGuide.net TCP/IP Analyzer reads my rwin as 65535 but i have it set to 256960! why is that?

i have win ME and using @home sevice

thx lobo! it works now.. the analyzer reads it perfectly..

i have another problem.. my speeds are..
Test Number: 1
Test Type: Download 2 Megabytes
Bytes Downloaded: 2097152 bytes
Download time: 12080 milliseconds.
Throughput: 1.325 Mbps

i have tweaked my modem settings to the one recommended on speedguide. when i download my modem skips aften at this setting.. e.g. it would dl really quickly but suddenly it would pause and dl again. but what i dont understand is that when i delete all the speedguide settings and let my computer run at its default settings my speeds actually improve... and my modem doesent skip anymore... but my rwin at it's default setting is only at 17_ _ _ (forgot the rest of the 3 numbers...)

if u can think of a reason why this is happening plz tell me! thx

i almost forgot...

my speeds at my default level are about 9500 ms for a 2 meg file..

Or you may need to repair or redownload IE:


To repair IE
Go to contol panel,add/remove programs
Select IE and internet tools from box
Click remove
A box will come up asking if you want to repair or remove IE
Click on repair

Or you may have to redownload IE:

To redownload IE
Go to www.microsoft.com
Under downloads click on download center
Select which which version you want and select your OS
Click on run from this location when download box comes up
