mtu problem on dsl pppoe router

i have a dsl pppoe router, and have some PCs connect this router.

if i change PCs mtu to 1492, it can't visit internet, when i change

1400 or 1200, they work fine. why? i don't like to change mtu

every PC's.

by the way, sguide_tweak_2k_pppoe.zip can't resolve

my problem.

DSL has a MTU of 1490 anything higher will fragment your IP packets thus not allow you to get out.
