I use Windows NT and W2K computers. I have admin status. What commands/functions/programs can I use to get ht IP address from the originating machine? Let me know.
Thanks for all your help.

From an email, it's easy. Simply look at the headers of each email message. If you're using a web-based email service, enable full headers in your mail options. If using Outlook, you can go to your inbox, right click on the particular message you want to get the headers from, and click on details. In Lotus Notes, you do the same thing as Outlook, but the option is called Document Properties. As far as the message goes, are you talking about NetWare SMS, or NT WinPopUp? NetWare SMS, the message usually appends the connection number where it came from and the user that sent it, WinPopUp will only append a computer name to the message. You'd need to enable WINS on your network to resolve that coputer name to an IP address. Hope this helps.
