im running win2000 pro....for primary use of Oracle server.
now running all other applications with Oracle Server 8i EE makes this machine very slow. ( got 256 Ram).
As soon as i log onto win2000 it takes almost all the memory.
i know installing win2000 with existing win 98 SE is very easy. But i've never tried the other way.
any suggestions ?

Hmmm, never tried it the other way myself.
You could try rewriting the boot.ini file in the root of c: to choose the OS at bootup.
Put Win98 on a diff partition too.

Untried here tho, be careful :)

Its very easy to do. I perfer to start with a clean HD. Make your partitions then install 98 on the first partition. On the second drive I copy the i386 folder to it then from that folder type winnt(from dos). If you do it this way make sure you run smartdrv first or the copy will take forever. Then follow the instructions on the screen.

I believe that since you already have Win 2000 on thee first that you will need to use 3rd party software such as Powerquests BootMagic.
