when you are in IE,go to "file: then to "import and export" and it will walk you through it,like send it to floppy or zip or whatever.and export it there.you can save cookies this way too!:)

then after the format,just go to the same tool in IE and import it back in! piece o cake!

Once you have saved your favorites and My Documents, you might want to just leave them where they are and use Tweak UI to point your OS to them after the install.
