I am using Windows ME. If i want to upgrade to Windows 2000, do i have to buy the Full Operating System Package or can i purchase the Upgrade Package. I will be erasing everything on my harddrive and making a clean installation.

I believe that you can buy the upgrade package, but you need to have the CD of a previous WinOS so that it can be verified as a valid upgrade.
Edit:
Why buy something that you can get for free ;)

I do have the CD for Windows ME But it is on a Restoration CD so i hope that will still go well. i doubt i can find a place to get Window 2000 for free.

you can do the upgrade if you have the full version of 95, 98, 0r ME. just put the upgrade disk in, and windows will ask for a previous version to verify...but the previous version must be a full version.

Just a side note... the restore disk that came with you comptuer will not count as a full version OS disk.
