it should be something like everquest..... but with a futuristic setting and more options

Haven't played it yet, but I have been lurking on the boards at aovault.com.

Most players agree that the game is fun, if Funcom could fix the problems. The game was launched with server issues, and are only now starting to come around. The latest patches correct a number of problems(memory leaks, 4 FPS outside of cities, crashes, etc). But its still a work in progress.

The cool thing about AO is that there are daily events which help the players to keep interest in the game. I think one of the more popular are clan wars near the cities, or mobs attacking the larger settlements.

I plan on buying the game, but I'll wait a month or so for some of the other problems to be worked out.

well i bought it and have been playing it since friday last week.....

but forget about the daily events....... A lot of the Roleplaying element still has to be implemented ....

I've played the game and its awsome i've only have for about 3-4 weeks and I guess Im addicted to it. The game great even though you need a really really good computer to run the game. It's alot like everquest but way better, the recent patches fixed almost everything but they are still working on another one. In the game the graphics are great: lightning, storms, sandstorms, realistic fire, high res. textures, very well done models, and much much more. Also the sound in the game is very well done. :nod:
Well I guess you should get the game and check it out your self, if you like RPG or everquest you will love this game. If you happen to get the game some day my screen name is Razerstarter.
