If general deathmatch or ctf has you down, and you need something fun and zaney, this is for you. Super Heros for Quake3.

I played several of the various Quake 2 mods back in the day, but none were as fun as Super Heros (IMO). With thousands of super powers combinations, you can try something different everyday.

Some are pretty hilarious. :D

This new release is pretty easy to setup as well.
It's not for everybody, but you gotta at least give it a shot, you might be hooked.

CoolJ, there should be 3 different servers to download from.

At least there was.... :)

I also HATE :mad: File planet. Last time I was there, it told me I have to register to download anything. HA ! BS with that!

BTW, if and when you get it, be sure to check out the "Happy Fun Balls" power. It kicks in when you are fragged. hehe

how do you take screenshots in quake 3?

btw, i just downloaded from fileplanet, if you scroll down you don't have to register, and my download was FAST :)

I THINK its f5 to take screenies in quake. Then the pics go to your Q3 folder.

F11 is the default bind for taking screenshots, which will be tga

if you want jpg's you can do this /bind s "screenshotjpg":D

Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm not sure if there are any skins & models just yet, but they are sure to follow.
I looked for a spiderman skin but didn't see one.

SH-2 had a huge amount of skins & models. Give it a little time and there should be tons. This being only the second beta release, I know they're still tweaking things.

Whaddaya know Cornbread, the other links on file planet did work.
Funny, they wouldn't work for me the other day.
