my 4 button logitech mouse just took a ***** and I need to buy a new one. I was thinking optical but I would like to get some opinions before I make the purchase.
Im sure youve heard of Microsofts Inteli mouse. If you need alot of buttons then this ones the one to go. 5 buttons. Its pretty big but i like it. I really dont need one so i dont have one.
I love my intelli optical... 4 buttons
I use the side button for jumping and its perfect.. frees your other hand up for coordinated movements
I like to play First person shooters (eg Cs, Rs) and id like to have 4 - 5 buttons to do diff things (eg. Reload, Jump, Talk, etc) but ive grown accustomed to using only 3 buttons. Wheel mouse up here.:D
got a logitech mouseman wheel (optical) and I like it better than me MS intelli mouse (also optical)
I have a Logitek Wheel mouse :D . Guess i should install it eh?
i have a logitech wheel mouse and its great, for quake 2, i binded the MWHEELDOWN to rocket launcher, and MWHEELUP to railgun, and you can bind the Mouse3 button to whatever you want, but thats what i do.. i've had the mouse for about 4 months now, and its still working great, just gotta clean it everyonce in a while, but thats like every mouse
When i used my optical logitek i found no difference. But i used it on the P2s (whatever its called) slot instead of USB. So that could ruin the sensitivity. besides that there really is no differene between a wheel and a Opitcal Wheel. Only Diff is more sensetivity and you have to clean the wheelmouse. Mine has been going strong for about 2 years and not one replacement.:D
