Will an OEM version of WIN DVD work on W2K?

Hi,

I upgraded my friends comp to Win2K. Its a Dell XPS 800Mhz P3.

It came with Win Dvd from dell and windows 98.

Anyone know if the OEM version of WinDVD will work on a fresh install of W2K?
