What is the windows default setting for the RWIN value???

17520 I think. On second (or third) thought... perhaps not. But it's a starting point.

No, its 8 thousand something, but I want to make sure of the exact number before I change anything on my friends computer.

That is the RWIN for WinXP according the the TCP/IP analyzer.

download one of those default tweaks to return your reg settings back to the windows default, and edit the .ini file and check the values
For windows 9x it's 8192
For windows 2000 it's 16384 I think.
As for windows xp it shouldn't be any different because it's basically windows 2000 with a new gui. Correct me if I am wrong because I haven't used windows xp yet. I could easily get of a WarEz site, but I don't like beta software. I know it's not buggy, but I have bad experiences with it's installer.
