Tweaking Verizon ADSL ?

Ello,
Looking to tweak my dsl but not sure how to go about it w/ the setup that I have....tried a couple methods a while back and was unsuccessful. Here's my setup:
OS: Windows 98 SE [4.10.2222 A]
Connection: Verizon Online ADSL 640k down - 90k up
DSL Software: WinPoet v2.0
Modem: Westell Wirespeed
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Any questions regarding my setup that I left out? Ask away.

Don't listen to Lobo and do the TCP/IP analyzer and post the results without your IP and that will help most of the people that will try to help you out.

Ok,
Here is what I have done: (I read Lobo's post and did this and then came back to see Optimus's post)
I went to the help link that lobo provided. As per the info regarding WinPoet I went into my registry and set the tunnelmode to 0 from 1. I then installed the sguide_tweak_98_pppoe file that it said to download. I went back to the TCP/IP Analyzer and the only change that I saw was that my Max MTU went from 1360 to 1400. I then installed cablenuts and changed the RWIN value per the TCP/IP Analyzer's suggestion to 522240. After doing this I came back to the analyzer and still saw the same RWIN vaule from before. So I installed the 386 Patch i believe it was called and now my RWIN is reading the proper #. In cablenuts i set my Max MTU from 1492 to 1500. Still says 1400 at the analyzer.

I have no idea what Optimus Prime's problem is, Cablenuts adjuster is alot easier to use than registry, if your on dsl the MTU problem is in the INF file that came with dsl, look for MaxframeSize and change their,1492 for PPPoE connecion, 1500 for regular DSL, REBOOT as soon as you change mumber

How come so many people are against you? All you have been doing is help and I noticed also there's this Half life person posting and always has to disagree about something that you say.

Anyway those Rwins I posted I have tried myself and for adsl connects it seems that a lower rwin works best. I started from 18000 and worked my way up and found that around the 30s rwin works really nice

64240 is a good Rwin to start from specially with dsl. Good to see you all again ;)

Yea, I'm going to lay low in Atlanta for awhile until baseball season is over or @home fixes there stuff, then maybe overseas again or I may visit the checkman, MadDoctor, no not the couch:)
