The problem with the world is it's full of stupid opinionated people, and we all define stupid with a different measuring stick. I'm sure I qualify as stupid opinionated dork to someone (okay…probably many people). You have two ways to approach this problem. You can fight them all, try to change them all, or you can change the way you look at the world so it doesn’t bug you so much.
I know this person that every time she ran into a person she didn’t like, she tried to change that person into what she defined as a “good person”. Unfortunately, it required so much time or the person was so stupid that he/she couldn't be changed in a timely manner. After beating her head against that wall for years.... she finally said to herself... "I'm going to be the one that chances". I'm going to learn how to live with the other people because I sure can't fight/change them all and I want to have a life.
She is a much happier person now. When someone turns her crank, she doesn't let it bug her. So they're wrong and she’s right. Who cares? Let them go through life as they are. It’s no longer her job to set things right (maybe tomorrow).
You have to take care of yourself first. Be proud of who you are. There are things in life you can't change so don’t let yourself get worked up over it. Regardless of where you go on the Internet "or in life..." there's going to be a person that will bug you. You can knock down the first 100 or 1,000 of them....but then what? Are you going to fight each and every one? Good luck! Change the way you look at life or just keep banging your head against that wall.
