Is there anything I could change to improve my cable modems performance. I use,
Windows ME
NETGEAR 314 router
@Home/Surfboard cable modem
I went to dslreports to test my speed. My graph showed
1597kbps(down) and 108kbps(up). Then I went to compare with others in your area. There are two people a couple blocks from me that share the same access as i do (carneg1.pa.home.com) and these are there speeds.

I never get download speeds or upload speeds like that....below are my results from SG tcp analyzer
