I'm getting a Linksys router >>> will I have to re-tweak my computer???

I am currently using the Cablenut program and speedguide's tweaks... Will the router affect my tweaks??? Also the router has a firewall built in and I'm currently using ZoneAlarm on my computer >>> Should I remove ZoneAlarm on the computer and run the one on the router or vice-versa??? I'm not to up to date on the specifics of routers so any info or comments is appreciated... I will say I know the basics of how they work and connecting them but thats about all...

I don't know about the firewall but I would think the one on router would be enough, with router make sure you have newest firmware 1.39 at bottom of page here (http://www.practicallynetworked.com/support/linksys_router_help_pg2.htm) :)
