Anyone had problems sharing printers with Win ME?

I have been helping a friend with his home network.


2 pc's running ME connected through a 3com Hub.

The first PC has a HP printer attached........

They can share files with no problems but the second PC can't print.

(the printer is shared properly)

It pauses when you try to print.....and then will stop with an error message. (Damn - can't remember the exact message)


Any help is appreciated.

have you installed the drivers on the 2nd ´pooter?
are they both running the same OS?(sometimes have to install different drivers on the local printer comp to serve the others)
