Purchased the Barricade router based on excellent reviews, flexibility, print server, etc. - and was on sale to boot! Installed and all Internet activity becomes very slow. Upgraded the firmware to 1.14, tried registry tweaks as per speedguide.net (as recommended by SMC tech support) all to no avail. Anyone else had this problem and successfully overcome it? Oh ya, brought a Linksys Etherfast router to try as well - it works flawlessly - no speed degradation at all! Costs twice as much (not on sale) and fewer features though - but it does work. Would really like to get the SMC working .....
