why cant i delete a thread,when i try it says i dont have permission ,i started the thread

Because if we were to allow you to delete your own threads someone could cause a lot of trouble on the forums then delete the evidence so they don't get in trouble.....

that's the main reason....

Also people start blaming Us (the mods) when a thread is deleted, so to make it fair no one can delete threads except a Mod

If you really want a thread of yours deleted report it to us

i know this was discussed before, but i forgot the answer, sorry. anyway, so once a thread is deleted by mod or by user it is forever gone? just seems like there would be a history of it someplace. i understand your guys point of view though.

Ken, I don't want to sound stupid, but I don't have an option any longer to close my own thread. Am I missing something?:confused:

Ken is a little behind on the SG updates. We tested this feature for about a week.. and it didnt work. Admin (brent) disabled it.
