Network tweaks question

Should the client machines in a network use the same reg tweaks as the server? or should they just be maxed out to take full advantage of your network speed.
I have 5 machines connected to a NAT server thru a switch. My cable speed is capped at 512kbps so I tweak the server to match.So what about the clients?They run 100mbs on the network so what tweaks apply to them? Tweak for your max internet bandwidth or max intranet bandwidth?
Any ideas?

Interesting issue?

I use SMC Router, under such arrangement every computer negotiate the Internet though the Router on its own, thus I needed to apply “The Patches” to all the computer on the Network.

I assume that it depends whether your network’s computers interface the Internet traffic on their own, or whether the NAT software does it.
