WHEN I BOOT UP MY PC THE CONRTOL PANEL AUTOMACTICALLY OPENS UP.IT DOES THIS EVERY TIME AND THAT WINDOWIS NOT OPEN WHEN I SHUT DOWN THE PC.AM I THE ONLY PERSON WHO HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM.PLEASE HHHEELLLPPP?:cry:

Or you could try going to start, programs, start-up, and delete the shortcut there that says control panal.

I'M USING WINDOWS ME. I'VE SEARCH EVERY WHERE FOR SHORT CUTS ,MSCONFIG AND I CAN'T FIND THE CAUSE FOR THIS WINDOW AUTOMACTICALLY OPENING.:cry:

I will bet that you recently (before you had this problem) uninstalled some software via add-remove applet. And the uninstall was incomplete or cut off short. And now you are left with this setting.

you have two options
1. live with it ( a painful option considering "IT" is windows ME )
2. get windows 2000

Everytime I booted up my computer my e:\adobe6 folder would open up. Then it would just go away. Id format and a while after it would do the same thing, so I just deleted the folder (It was empty):D

There is probably a line in your win.ini file that is calling control panetl at boot up.
