i dont know what my brother did, but after using my computer, this happens when everytime you want to navigate through My Computer:

An active x control on this page might by unsafe to interact with other parts? Do you want to allow for this interaction?

if you click yes or no, it will always pop up this message.

it won't come up if you get on the web, only navigating folders.

tried all the clear cookies, cache, temp files, did a reg clean, all that, rebooted....no luck..

anyone with a solution? An active x control on this page might by unsafe to interact with other parts? Do you want to allow for this interaction?

Go into Internet Explorer(which should work for windows explorer) and open up internet tools. Under security see what level the active x levels are and try taking them down a notch. That should help you browsing folders too. Maybe your bro just wanted to increase the security on your pc, and ended up changing the wrong setting too high. Peace:2cool:

the absolute end all for cutting down on the possibility of your computer messing up is to threaten family members with dismemberment if they even touch the desk your pc is located on, ive had to fix several computers that were messed up when the owner's family came by for a visit, or their sibling came home from college, etc...
