Mini window

When I'm on a website and click on a link, a mini window pops up on the existing screen instead of opening its own window. How can I undo whatevers causing this? It doesn't do it on all sites, but it never used to do it. I don't think I changed anything. Thanks for any ideas!

Go into your internet explorer properties. Then click on the advanced tab. Scroll down to reusing windows for shortcuts and uncheck it. This should solve your proublem. If it is a pop up advertise ment you will have to look for some kind of software to stop that. Hope this helps you out.:)
