Did you install the @home software? Did you mess up your settings like rwin, mtu, and other stuff? If your'e ni Me use system resotore a do you have a registry backup?

Why don't you redownload cablenut and apply one of the css files that he provides?

The adjuster that comes with the cablenut 4.02 will show you your current values and then allow you to change them and write them to the registry.

Why not just check analyzer to see if settings are different and if you have one of Cablenuts ccs files loaded, you do not download or patch on top of his

regsvr32 /u ahiehelp.dll

Do this in the RUN prompt (Start>Run)

Then make all neccessary changes to registry. Oh, and disable proxy by: Tools> Internet Options>Connections>LAN Settings>Uncheck all

Xbit,

You sure are popular. You just emptied your PM and when I tried to reply to your PM it says your box is full already.

ok thanks everyone i loaded the ccs files of cablenut again and still no go. Then i dled the file you said xbit and still no go. I disabled proxy and ran that command in run box and it allowed me not to use proxy but still no go. So i finally called @home and they said that my NIC is defective. They said they are going to change it for me. Also, i want to ask wahts better Sohoware cards or Linksys because when they come here i dont want them to install some crappy NIC.

Thanks for all your advice guys.

Have you checked for irq conflicts? What Os are you using. If in 95,98,ME right click on my computer. Select properties, go to the hardware tab then device manager. Check for any red or yellow marks there. It should be the same for 2k or xp. You can also try to reinstall The drivers or reinstall tcpip.

Ok i'm in xp so it might be a little diffrent in 2k. Right click on network places. Select your nic. then in the general tab click on properties. Uninstall tcpip. then reinstall it. Good luck.:D
