In my sig go to tweak tester then post your results:)

Your Tweakable Settings:
Receive Window (RWIN): 128480
Window Scaling: 1
Path MTU Discovery: ON
RFC1323 Window Scaling: ON
RFC1323 Time Stamping: OFF
Selective Acks: ON
MSS requested: 1460
TTL: 55
(less any hops behind firewall)
TTL remaining: 34

Choose RWIN between 5840 and 7300 (FAQ #578)
download DRTCP v0.19 .. (FAQ #578)
Read the tweak FAQ

Example 146000 byte download
Actual data bytes sent: 146000
Actual data packets: 100
Max packet sent (MTU): 1500
Max packet recd (MTU): 1500
Retransmitted data packets: 0
sacks you sent: 0
pushed data pkts: 3
data transmit time: 0.932 secs
our max idletime: 138.5 ms
transfer rate: 105392 bytes/sec
transfer rate: 843 kbits/sec
This is not a speed test!
transfer efficiency: 100%

Good data stream (no rexmits)

ICMP (ping) check
Minimum ping: 101 ms
Maximum ping: 124 ms
Ping stability:
103 101 102 103 101 101 101 102 124 101

Looking good

i average 250kbs but i used to average 360kbs. DO you have any regestry tweaks that i can just place in my registry on Cable Nut? Not a patch.

ok i got a new rwin today and don't know how the speeds are but you can try 124688. try it and see how your speeds are. You could also download Drctp. I think its easier to use, but its you call.

Its a program that lets you adjust the setting like rwin, timestamps, mtu, and other stuff. You can get it in my sig where it says download drtcp here

Something really weird happened. I made a back up of my registry a few weeks ago. And today i double clicked and i guess it brought me back my old registry and registered. My system restarts and an error pops up on my screen saying (Rundll error cant load c:/windows/sytem/newdot~1) And i couldnt use anyting that had to do with the internet? What happened? Im on a different comp right now. Please help me fix my comp.

go to start>run>command>then type scanreg /restore or scanreg/ restore. Pick one of the reg files there, good luck.

The problem that i had caused my cable company to change my ip address. Is that a good thing or a bad thing. heres my new specs-

TCP options string = 020405b401010402

MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which is equal to MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 64240
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 64240
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 2569.6 kbps (321.2 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 1027.84 kbps (128.48 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 110 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000
