Well I restarted my computer....found out my sound was working
I didnt even have the volume control icon in my tray anymore!
So I went to the control panel, and to "sounds and multimedia" then to "audio tab"
Under "Sound Playback"
"Preferred device"
It says "No Playback Devices"
And under "sound recording"
"Preferred device"
It says "No recording Devices"
It wont let me change the options. one minute my sound is fine and when i restarted my sound was gone, so i reinstalled windows and it still doesnt work.....
any help
