Hi Everybody,
I have a quick question... My rogers@home gave me a standard network card and a Linksys USB network adapter. Witch one would give me a faster connection? USB or PCI?

You would want to go with the PCI option which is the standard network card. Theoretically USB is faster but cable modems can only go a max of 10Mbps so it wouldnt matter.
But definately go with PCI(NIC), I have heard about too many problems with the USB.

ISPs usually offer one of three Setting:
1. External Cable/DSL Modem with Ethernet Network Card.
2. Internal PCI Modem.
3. External USB Modem.
The BEST solution concerning Flexibility, Speed, Sharing, Networking, is by FAR the first.
External Cable/DSL Modem with Ethernet Network Card.
If the first one is not available. Internal PCI is faster then USB.
However if you don’t have a spare IRQ, or don’t want to open the computer USB will do.
If you got stuck with one of the latter two, and you still want to share Sygate provides a decent solution.
