@home sold local cable to cableone.net. Went from pulling an average of 2000 down (with peaks as high as 3500) 128 up on @home to 350 down 125 up on the new service. I am pissed off!!!! I can't believe this. I am paying the same amount for crap. Local DSL place wants about $70/month for a 768/256 connection. I can get that on this cableone.net for $50/month. Did I mention I was pissed off? :) Oh well time to do some research and maybe find a fast DSL in my area. Just had to vent.

well man i say sorry and that sucks....that cableone looks kinda cheesy

all i could say to give you hope is that it look likes our cable company will one day be a prime takeover target for Cox Comcast charter aOL/tw or someone eventually when more consloidation takes place then you will switch to somethng else maybe even back to @Home and then you will be rollin again hopefully:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

Hey if you wan't to piss of cableone go to speedtest.net. Open about 5 or 6 Internet explorer windows. On each window select the 10mb file and choose upload. This may slow down other in your area but cableone will see the slow down and get mad. But hey its thier fault. Just an idea and just what i would do.:rolleyes:
