View Full Version : Broadband VS. Analog usage statistics?
I am doing a school project and it would be very helpful if somewhere I could find a source comparing analog to broadband usage. I am sure analog still wins out but some cold numbers would still be a great help. If anybody know of a site please post the link. Thanks in advance.

You could maybe go to www.pcpitstop.com and you can compare the types of connections that they have tested. I know that they have monthly statistics on the percentage of pc's equipped with broadband vs. dialup/analog and everything. Hope that can be of some assistance man.
Actually... I just went there and here's the URL:

Good luck again.
Perfect. Exactly what I needed.

The stats were published in a recent study by OECD. The URL is here:
http://www.oecd.org/
However, I think it is aimed at home broadband usage - I didn't think it took into account broadband usage at school/work
"It shows that South Korea is home to 10 broadband connections per 100 people, compared to 4 in Canada and 3 in the United States. Austria followed with less than two percent penetration the Netherlands then Belgium"
