I am a Comcast @Home user. I cant upload my website. I cant email anything over 50K. And my gaming speeds are lousy.

I have tried Front Page 2000, Cuteftp, and Dreamweaver to get my site uploaded but the same error keeps appearing. It says something to the extent that the remote host has disconnected. It will upload the first 50K then disconnect.

I have spent over an hour on the phone with the Comcast morons and have reinstalled my network card but nothing seems to help.

Any suggestions?

Thank you !

can you sustain a download from a fast site, like ftp.lucasarts.com?

Yup, I can download extremely fast from Lucasarts and many others.

I upload my webpage to Verio Servers. They are great servers. I upload to them nicely from work but at home...sheesh...its a joke... and I think the butt of the joke is Comcast.

Comcast here too..not a problem.

So does it start uploading, and then cut out?

Yeah...like my website is 58 megs of space. When try to upload the whole site, it stops working within a minute. Then I have to close the program, restart it, and start the uploading again. Last time I upped the whole site, it took 20 tries to get everything up;

And for emails...I tried to email an mp3 to a freind but it stops in the middle.
