I signed up for Adelphia Cable Modem server about 3 weeks ago. For the first couple weeks I would have a outage here and there, then about a week ago I have been unable to get onto the internet for more then 5 minutes at a time.
I get an IP address from Adelphia and I can ping other machines on the same subnet, but I cannot ping the gateway or DNS server. I am told from customer server (or lack there of) that it is a problem on my subnet and they are working on the problem. I have tried it using 3 different PC's with the same outcome to verify it was not me.
I have taked (and yelled) at their customer server people, but all they say is they are working on the problem with no details.
Does anybody know who I can complain to? Are the any government agenices that would like to here me?
