I hate to say it, but I believe that You need the 'TcpWindowSize ' rather than the 'GlobalMax..' setting under Win2000. My values didn't change on your TCP/IP Analyzer until I put in the regular, supposedly defunct by MS, 'TcpWindowSize' entry. Anyone know anything about this?

You need to reboot for the global setting to take effect.

I think I know that.......that's basic Registry stuff. I have confirmed, That YOU DO NOT NEED THE GLOBAL MAX Setting!!!!!! The TcpWindowSize Setting will work just fine. Once again, MS is WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe MS fixed the 'TcpWindowSize' setting in SP2, however the global one will still work on all network devices...

Well...With all the settings input manually, it worked. I got a GOOD display on your TCP/IP Analyzer. But as soon as I removed the 'TcpWindowSize' setting......my Recieve window was limited, according again to your TCP/IP Anly........but if I put 'TcpWindowSize' back in........ with OR WITHOUT.....again, mainly, WITHOUT the supposed 'MS correct' 'GlobalMaxTpWindowSize' entry, it again worked. The Entry needed with WIN2000 IS just 'TcpWindowSize' and you DO NOT need the 'GlobalMax' entry. Please email me if you have any questions.
