Hello everyone, I'm a bit new to all this tweaking madness but I am eager to booooost my cable connection. I recently tweaked my DefaultRcvWindow in my registry and Now I'm speed hungry but I need a little advice from all of you with the 9Mb/sec downstream speed (har!):rotfl: But anyway here's all the dirty stuff:
Sys Specs:
800Mhz AMD Athalon
384MB Ram
Ethernet NIC
Intel ANYpoint home lan (I'm the server 2 others hooked to me)
Connection:
Indy Road Runner avg. of 1.5-3Mb/sec down 384kb/sec up
A SURFboard cable modem (I don't know brand or Model ATM because I'm not at my computer, sadly.)
If there is any other informtion needed I'll try and supply you with it ASAP. I appreciate everyone's help.
