Hey All...I hope this is the right place to ask this...

Im having trouble with Windows 2000 pro

I dont know why but i try to restart, shutdown or log off
and the screen just flashes and then goes back into windows

i did a search in Microsoft's database and could not find exactly what i was looking for

anyone have any clues

for some reason i think it may have something to do with my video card (asus v7100 pro mx-400 32mb) but it was working before and had no trouble...

AMD 1333 Thunderbird
256MB DDR
40GIG Quantum
300w ps
50X cdrom

Thanks All

whenever that happens to me its a issue with programs running in the background or in the tray... close one program from the tray and try it again.. then close another and try again.. keep doing that until you find your problem...

If that doesnt help open task manager and close things from the bottom up 1 by 1 in the same manner...

You might need to get the NT 4 resource kit to close a few processes using the kill command
