Norm,

In an earlier post about MaDD Hatter article, you mentioned

"I personally use a ramdrive for most of the mentioned files to go into, and they get deleted on reboot. But not everyone will want these files deleted. Some people will not know how to get around certain sites they frequent if the IE cache, and or cookies are deleted. "

Can you elaborate on this a little. I have been thinking about creating a ram drive and some uses for it.

Thanks
Jon

sorry for the confusion, it was still pretty early

Try reading This Article (http://www.speedcorp.net/guides/ramdrv.shtml) I wrote, and move your IE cache into the ramdrive using the IE properties/settings page to move it instead of the way presented in that article.

Hey Norm, I tried moving the IE files into the RAMdrive per your suggestion in an earlier post. It worked fine, everything was whistle. But then I tried moving the History folder too. Hrmph! :( It wouldn't move. So I went into my registry and added everything per your instructions in the article. Now cookies, History, tmp files, etc., go into my RAMdrive and everything's whistle again :D Thanx Norm :)
