I can get one or the other working on CS but not both. The server computer will only play with sygate turned off and the client will play CS with the server on So I have been trying to setup the access numbers for sygate but no luck So I'm hear looking for help Please. you dont have a CS problem. U have a Networking problem.
I have 3 PCs thru one Linksys Router and I can play CS on the internet on all three at the same time.
Why do you have a server computer???? Did you set up a proxy server??? Did your Linksys network kit come with a router?
If you did setup a proxy server,, I would get rid of it.
I don't run with any software firewall either,,, I let my router be the firewall,,, nothing of interest to hack into my PCs anyway.
Before I had the router I used Microsoft ICS and I could play CS with all three computers on internet at the same time no problem.
Please repost with more info, But I think you would have better luck posting this in the Networking BBS. Of course if you supply more info I am sure we can fix your problem.

Well I have a linksys network in a box setup. it has 2 nics in the main or might be called the server in the setup. Other is the client which only has 1 nic. The server uses 1 nic for dsl and other for the network. It has sygate as the software for it. And I did see in the sygates advance setup is that you can change access rules to allow what comes in and out. I just dont know why my client will play cs though the server to dsl but not the server though dsl. But when I turn off sygate's network I can play CS and the client is not able to be online for anything.
Thanks Hope that some information that would help.

Before I had my Linksys router I had the same setup as you but I didnt use sygate software to access the internet, and as I said I used MS ICS to share internet connection.
I am sure that someone else has setup sygate to properly share one connection.
You should repost in the Network BBS for a faster answer. Sorry I couldn't help.
