quicktime in IE6

i have IE6 and found a problem with it. whenever i try to play a quicktime movie it wont let me. works fine with IE5.5. any ideas on what the problem is? and suggestions on what i can do?

Reinstall Quicktime, download it here..

didnt work. any other ideas? this really sucks. i watch quicktime stuff a lot.

What does it exactly do that it doesn't work?

Hey the same thing happens to me since I installed IE 6(along with some other problems):mad: .Does anyone else have this problem too?

Okay... Well.. I'm running 5.5 on W2K, and I can see the clip just fine. IE 6 may have the file type MOV associated with WMP. I would go in and manually change the file type, make it point to QuickTime.

u go to file association types in the preferences and go to mime settings. i checked em all and it still does not work. i'm gonna go back to 5.5 if i cant get it to work.
