Im new to @Home,2 days,I was wondering if these settings were ok.I installed CABLENUT and used the "fast modem" setting .I run Win 98.Anything else I can do?Also Since I got Cable IE freezes when I click a link and I must control/alt/delete to escape page.If it doesnt freeze,it pauses for a 20 seconds,then goes there...really annoying!Thanks for any help.This board is great!

TCP options string = 020405b4

MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which is equal to MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 49152
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 49152
For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 1966.08 kbps (245.76 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 786.432 kbps (98.304 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = OFF

Time to live left = 52 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = OFF

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

Was the freezing a problem before you installed cablenut?

Check the Device Manager for resource conflicts.
Do you have the @Home software installed?

Are you sure it,s not your browser?
What are you useing now?

I tried IE 6.0 beta,and my pages would freeze sometimes.

I went back to IE 5.5 and all is well now.

Yuo might want to go back to previous browser in ADD/REMOVE and then reinstall the one your using now.

just a thought :)
