I guess my previous posting of http://forums.speedguide.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=37388 is not too clear.

My probelm is that every now and then the server running winroute will temp. turn off all network cards, shutting down the network.
I am using Winpoet DSL software for connection.

When I am inside Winroute, interface table I saw 2 NIC, 1 to the network switch and the other to the dsl modem. and 1 ras. I had to put the NAT on the Ras connection to get all the client online.

So anybody think that the Computer is confused by the 2 NIC? Since 1 of the NIC is actually the RAS or the outgoing connection and not one of the internal network connection? and DATA crashes?

My guess is the problem is Winroute, which you don't need anyway b/c WinME has ICS (Internet Connection Sharing). Try ICS along w/ RASPPPoE instead of Winroute and Winpoet.

Turn off NAT on RAS, and activate it on the NIC attached to your CPE, see if that works.
