Stabilizing/lowering ping with dialup

Hi all,

Yes, I'm still on dialup. OOL keeps delaying, and I'm too far for DSL and there's no other options for gamers like me :(.

I was just wondering, my ping idle in q3 is about 130, but it jumps up to 250. Can someone help me with some settings to stabilize and maybe lower? I have WinME and my MaxMTU is 1500 with my rcvwindow 64240. All help is appreciated. Thanks :)

BTW, does anyone know if the diamond supra max usb external modem is good?

Ramdrive will help with your latancy if you were on broadband, don't about dialup though. If you tweaked your dial up there really isn't much more you can do exept the ramdrive.
