Anyone running Punkbuster for CS?

1. Is it worth installing? I have notice a few servers running it.

2. Is there any known problems like it causing CS to hang up or not play smooth/lag?

3. It obviously is only good for servers that are running PunkBuster Server??? correct?

4. Do you have the option after it is installed, NOT to run it while playing CS?

5. Are there any reasons that I shouldn't install it? (I don't cheat, so thats not a reason)

Thanks in advance, and when is the [SG] Team going to try and CS together??? It would be neat to play another team, or at least play together one night.

Punkbuster is stupid...

Its a waste of time and CPU clock...

Theres already a handful of cheats to bypass it so basically no matter where you go there will be cheaters.

I have it but rarely use it unless I need to.

As for [SG] - I just formatted and my friend has my CD so Im gonna get it from him soon and then I can play again.

punkbuster is primarily for ladder and league matches but it's side effect on public servers has been good too. it won't remove the cheats, but reduce them. I went 29-4 yesterday, one of my better days, on a pB server, and never once got called a hack or a cheater. I got "Well done"s and "Way to go"s instead.

BlackLoti,,, that is well done.... I consider myself doing well at a 2 to 1 ratio,,, I think my best has been 5 to 1... yours is a 7 to 1 ratio, if you can do that consistently then YOUR DEADLY!

Im about a 2 - 1 as well... when I get a better PC and get frame rates higher than 25 I will probably be a rapist :D
